LAS VEGAS – The Kitchen & Bath Industry Show (KBIS) reports the most-successful show in its 60-year history bringing more than 41,500 attendees to the Las Vegas Convention Center in late February. KBIS also drew 670 exhibitors, up 30% from 2023. Of those, 260 were new exhibitors, a 40% increase. The show is co-located with the International Builders’ Show (IBS), which also drew record attendance. The two organizations recently agreed to extend the co-location of the two shows through 2030.

VITORIA, Brazil – Natural-stone exports from Brazil topped $1 billion last year, with more than half of the material heading to the United States. The $1.11 billion in shipments trailed 2022 by 13.4%, but natural stone remains on a positive path in 2024, according to the president of Centrorochas, the Brazilian Center for Natural Stone Exporters, citing the “It’s Natural” promotional project developed by Centrorochas with support from ApexBrasil. The U.S. purchased 54.7% of Brazilian stone shipments last year.
