SFA: What's the Answer?
How's Business?
Frankie Martinez
Hi guys. How are you guys doing in work? Keeping busy? Or work slowing down?
Josh McCorkle
Business went up 20% last year.
Mauricio Sanchez
We are super busy.
Adriane Gardner
Slow. π
Alejandro Mendoza
Beginning of year is always busy for me for some reason. Usually rips down a little in March/April. Then booms back up. Iβm staying consistent. Very rare do I never have a job going on.
Steven Brandt
We were looking pretty slow for this month a month ago but then within a day of wondering that, February booked up and now booking into March lol.
Tony Favela
Staying busy looking into making a new warehouse to store quartz.
Clarence Anacleto
Tony Favela, you're a very good businessman. I need to know how to store up stone and become a stone seller not only a fabricator. You probably have the knowledge to do that; I'm not very good with knowledge of business like that but sometimes would like to know how to do that importing and selling stone. Good luck on your stone business I'm sure it will do good.
Gary Anderson
Busy busy busy.
Raul M Mendoza
Slow π
Eric Wilber
Chugging along. Short slow periods then a bunch of work, short slow period then a lot of work. Seems to be my cycle.
Scott Thompson
Same here. With either not enough to do or too much. Been this way for 20 years,
Eric Wilber
Twenty years. Lol.
Shkoder Redokhs
Slow.
Jeramiah Ochoa
Beyond busy and behind. π€£π
Art Mtz
Slow.
Rene Lei
Booking through early April but still slower than the past couple years.
Sam Jacobson
Slow.
Edgar Soto
Ever since COVID, business just keeps getting busier. For a two-man shop with only a bridge saw and hand-fabbing, weβre at 3-5 kitchens a week nonstop.
Codi Papamichael
Edgar Soto, do you have a backsplash machine yet?
Edgar Soto
Not yet but looking at getting one soon.
Pam Giles
Still busy, thank goodness. A few of the fabricators in Dallas have called looking for work.
Dan Kniceley
Slowest we've ever been.
Raul Martinez
Yeah it has slowed down! Never have I seen it this slow.
Joseph Edward
Been steady but will get busier by end of the month.
Wyatt D. Valora
I'm steady for little shop.
Mario Gage Gonzales
It has never slowed down for me since the recession years all those years ago, but still got through with 1-2 jobs a month even back then.
Jillian Mainus
Slow. We usually do 4-6 kitchens a day and it's definitely slowed down to smaller jobs. It'll pick up, always does.
Michael Odom
Owners just invested about $1.5 mil into our shop. New crane, newest Titan will be here on Monday, and new water filtration system. We are currently ripping everything out of the shop. Out with the old, in with the NEW.
Tristan Turner
Now they need to invest in management and a second install crew.
