Sims-Lohman Gets Two Ohio Companies
CINCINNATI -- Sims-Lohman, a national provider of kitchen cabinets, granite and quartz countertops to building professionals, acquired Canton Cut Stone and Cleveland Cut Stone (CTS) in early January.
In the transaction, Cincinnati-based Sims-Lohman will be adding will add two manufacturing facilities, 60 team members and more than $12 million in sales volume.
“We are very excited to welcome CTS team members and customers to the Sims-Lohman family.” said John Beiersdorfer, Sims-Lohman president.
New Owner at Creative Edge Mastershop
FAIRFIELD, Iowa – Weaton Capitol, a local private-equity company, is the new owner of waterjet stone-cutting pioneer Creative Edge Master Shop, but founder Jim Belilove will remain with the company.
Belilove will be a principal with Creative Edge through the next four years, assisting new owner Nate Weaton. Belilove began the business in 1988, which has created more than 10,000 custom floors and wall murals.
Weaton and Belilove will work to continue operations of the custom manufacturer in Fairfield, which is 95 miles southeast of Des Moines, the state capital.
