The 1,000+ workers didn’t receive final paychecks or health-care options. Clio then declared Chapter 7 bankruptcy on Jan. 15. Two ex-employees are seeking a class action against the company.

Cosentino Group will invest $150 million into its Silestone® quartz-surfaces production lines in Cantoria, Spain, by the end of next year. The surfacing company will add up to three more production lines, as well as dealing with environmental and workplace-safety issues.
