Making An Impression

Early this year -- just as the word coronavirus started filtering into conversations -- I traveled to northern Italy to see porcelain slab being made by Laminam in a town called Borgotaro. After returning home, I found that the experience couldn't be wrapped up with some pictures and maybe a thousand-or-so choice words. So let me take you on a short (about eight-and-a-half) minute tour to show you the journey from powder to panel in a very 21st-century factory.
