HACKETTSTOWN, N.J. – The latest National Kitchen & Bath Association (NKBA) Kitchen & Bath Market Index (KBMI) reports good news. Growth for the last three months of 2020 grew 2% from 2019. The report also predicts an increase of 10.7% in industry sales in 2021 compared to 2020.
LAS VEGAS – The International Surface Event (TISE) will hold its early summer in-person show as planned, following new state guidelines for large-group meetings. The show is scheduled for June 16-18 at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center. Registration opens at the end of March.
WASHINGTON – Fifteen U.S. companies may draw the wrath of federal officials for illegally importing Chinese quartz surfaces by transshipping them via Malaysia in an attempt to evade antidumping and countervailing duties. A full investigation could take up to seven months.
BARCELONA, Spain – Francisco Martinez-Cosentino, president of the Cosentino Group, is the latest recipient of the Kingdom of Spain Entrepreneurial Career Award. Martinez-Cosentino founded Marmoles Cosentino with his brothers 40 years ago. The award will be presented by King Felipe VI later this year.
