Traditional Bath
Celestial Sanctuary
Shea Pumarejo, CMKBD Younique Designs, San Antonio
The clients desired to have the experience they found in luxury hotels, but in their own home. Among the items on their wish list were a shower big enough for two, a free-standing tub and separate vanities. In order to make all of these dreams come true, we needed to borrow some space from a storage closet in the garage to grow the footprint of the bathroom
Lilac marble tile was repeated from the large-format floor tile to the countertops and shower casing, to the herringbone mosaic tile used above the wainscot in the shower and as a backsplash at his vanity. Black Nero marble was also repeated in the wainscot, shower bench, shower moldings and the decorative tile behind the tub

Traditional Master Bath
Catherine (aka) Jake Galang Illustraction by Jake Corp., Monrovia, Calif.
The design evolved on giving the lady of the house where a bathroom is more than just a space to clean up. It is meant to encourage self-care and wellness, in a luxurious ambience as soon as waking up in the morning or retiring at night. The client also dreamt of having a freestanding tub, a bath with spa like features in a classic setting.
The marble deck and overhang were also intentionally fabricated 7” wide to help on the tight space. Steam shower and body spray were carefully configured to work with stone design and recessed shampoo niches. The tub and shower share the same centerline and the stone pattern design emerged.

Guest Bath
Michelle Youell Natural Domain Interiors LLC, Henderson, Nev.
The challenge came in creating an open, functional guest-bath floor plan with enhanced lighting and ventilation and a walk in shower, as well as designing a bright and modern space around our clients favorite color, blue.
The new nautical blue custom vanity included a 36” high quartz countertop with a waterfall edge. The vibrant Alhambra encaustic floor tile and the non-slip textured blue hexagon shower floor tile, paired with the white 3-D shower wall tile, brightened the room with a modern aesthetic.
