MP MENASHE, Israel – Surface manufacturer Caesarstone reported a record $163.3 million in revenue during this year’s third quarter. Rising costs and product prices may temper growth in the near future. Contributing to the record number is a strong showing in the U.S., where revenues during 3Q reached $79 million. However, CEO Yuval Dagim cited supply chain and raw material concerns. The company has offset some rising costs with a price increase in 2021, and another planned for Jan. 1.
BORGO VAL DI TARO, Italy – Laminam celebrated the doubling of its production capacity at its plant here during an event Nov. 5 that recognized the installation of a second double-deck kiln, giving a firing outlet for each of the company’s automated press-and-print lines for creating large-format porcelain slabs. The expansion is part of an investment plan for expanding and renovating all three Laminam plants. Over the first three-quarters of this year, the company recorded growth up 43% from pre-COVID 2019.
