LE SUEUR, Minn. – Cambria Company LLC and Cosentino Group settled a patent lawsuit on veining in quartz-surface manufacturing. No terms of the settlement were released. Cambria filed the lawsuit in 2020 seeking damages and an injunction to stop sales of product allegedly infringing on Cambria patents regarding quartz-surface products with veining. In a statement, Cambria said it has determined the infringement of its patents, if any, was unintentional and both parties will maintain and respect their respective intellectual property rights.
OBERLIN, Ohio – The Natural Stone University now offers a 15-week Internship Resource Bundle to bring architectural/design students into stone companies. The resources, developed by Women in Stone, makes it easier for stone companies to open their doors to students to help nurture an appreciation and preference for natural stone in their future projects. The turnkey templates allow assignments and learning outcomes to be documented throughout the program.
