CORAL GABLES. Fla. – The presentation came a year late, but Cosentino Group finally received recognition as the winner of the Ponce de Leon “Company of the Year” for 2020 from the Spain-U.S. Chamber of Commerce. The in-person black-tie event recognized Cosentino as a company that prioritizes innovation, passion, and growth to be successful in the United States. In accepting the award, Eduardo Cosentino, CEO of Cosentino North America said, “We couldn’t be more-proud of this recognition.”
BAXTER, Tenn. – Portobello Group, a Brazilian producer of porcelain and ceramic tile, recently began construction of its U.S. factory here. The 895,000 ft² facility will include production lines, research and development space, a showroom and 30,000 ft² of offices. The location will serve as headquarters for the company’s Portobello America division. The 92-acre project is located approximately 70 miles east of Nashville on Interstate 40. When completed at the end of 2022, the factory is expected to provide 220 local jobs.
